Make Her Day with the Most Joyful Mother’s Day Gifts

09 May 2024

The daffodils are starting to appear and spring is definitely in the air. That means Mother's Day is just around the corner.

Our new season campaign is all about moments of joy. So we want to make sure the mum, grandmother, sister or best friend you choose to celebrate on 27th March unwraps a brand-new style that brings them many moments of joy, every day. Not sure which one to choose? We have some ideas...

FOR THE ‘JUST-IN-CASE' MUM

Her handbag is typically the same size as a Scottie dog and is filled with everything from a whole spectrum of lipgloss shades to three hairbrushes ‘just in case’. She wants everyone to be prepared, so she deserves the most gorgeous bag to carry all of that and more. Like our Cuba Street Colour Block. The slouchy hobo shape is one of our most popular, with the snake print our Design Team have predicted as a huge trend for the coming year.

FOR THOSE PUTTING THE PLANET FIRST

We take sustainability seriously here at Radley London. You can read all about our commitment to the planet. And our sustainable Radley Responsible range is a big part of that. We start with recycled plastic bottles and finish with the most gorgeous bags and accessories you’ll love forever. Like our Finsbury Park '60s Floral. That retro print? Created in-house in our London Design Studio. The journey to carbon zero has never looked so good.

FOR ANYONE WHO NEEDS A SPRINGTIME BOOST

No, not the ice cream (although ice cream is always a good idea). We’re talking about our new colours of Mill Bay Quilt in the most perfect pastels. Time to put the dark colours to the back of the wardrobe, she deserves sunshine in bag form.

FOR THE COLLECTOR

Whether she’s already a fan of our limited edition styles or just appreciates the finest quality, our collectible Book Street and picture bags will make her day.

Radley’s Growing Guide and Journal is the latest addition to our Book Street library. The book cover front is made using leather appliqué, screen printing and hand-crafted whipstitch detailing. Any gardener will love carrying this little masterpiece.

The Allotment is our most intricate picture bag ever. Made up of over 100 individual screen prints and appliqué pieces. And that’s before counting the metallic foiling and hand-crafted leather whipstitching too. So you can only imagine how long it takes to make. Any guesses? The answer: Seven days and eight artisans. And that’s to craft just one bag. We told you it was special.

FOR THE ONE WHO LIKES TO STAND OUT

All of our bags and purses fit this brief, but the Gnome purses deserve a special shout-out. Our celebration of the outdoors continues with this little friend. Radley dog is busy admiring his crystal-embellished sunglasses. And if you know someone who would love them too, now’s your chance to snap it up in either the matinee or bifold shape.

Have you found the perfect gift yet? We hope so, but there’s plenty more to see in our New In section.

We also have a dedicated gifting page featuring some of our most popular accessories. Our jewellery is a gift anyone would love, especially our smart watches with activity tracking functions. If you’re feeling optimistic about the spring weather we have a huge selection of sunglasses. But just in case, we also make really great umbrellas.
