Autumn/Winter Layers From Our Clothing Collection

10 May 2024

Knitwear over T-shirts, coats over jumpers and thick, fluffy scarves wrapped on top. You’ll spot autumn layering all over the catwalks. And that’s what we had in mind when designing the new styles in our capsule clothing collection. Perfect for the shorter days and colder temperatures, these pieces will help you create warm and stylish looks all season.

THE KNITWEAR

You might remember our Fair Isle jumpers from last autumn. The versatile, fine-knit styles that were perfect layering pieces. Not only are they back on the catwalks, they’re back in stock here too. We’ve even added a few new colours. Can you pick a favourite, or will you have one of each?

And there’s even better news. We’re introducing a matching Fair Isle cardigan too. With a patterned yoke and shoulders, this button-up layer is crafted with the same soft mohair-wool-nylon mix as the original jumpers.

When designing these wardrobe staples, we knew to keep it traditional with zigzag patterning, but we had to add a signature finishing touch. Of course, it’s Scottie dog related, so you’ll spot him embroidered on the hem of each style.

We launched the first of our printed T-shirts in our summer apparel collection and you loved them. (That’ll be due to the charming illustrations and soft, sustainable cotton accredited by the Better Cotton Initiative.) So, we have a feeling you’ll like these new jersey options too. Our metallic Smile tee and sweatshirt are destined to make you happy.

They’re designed to style perfectly with other autumn staples. We particularly like them with leather biker boots, which you can find in our new footwear collection.

More exciting than Strictly Come Dancing being back on TV. This season, it’s all about the return of the picture cardigan. The same much-loved Scottie dog scene is crafted with a skilled intarsia knitting technique, which uses multiple colours (or in this case, a palette of pinks). And it gets even better when you hear that it’s made using a responsible combination of recycled and organic cotton.

Inspired by the look our shoot stylist put together? It’s easy to recreate – you just need a rollneck top, Chelsea boots and trousers (or swap these for denim and trainers to create a more casual outfit).

THE OUTERWEAR

There’s one thing you really can’t go without once the temperature starts dropping. So, we’ve levelled up our outerwear range with these brand-new styles. Introducing Radley London jackets. One is the luxury Sussex Gardens hooded parka, designed with a soft faux fur lining and drawstring waist.

Then there's the boxy Lilyville Road in faux fur. Perfect with jeans and heeled boots when going for dinner and drinks.

Not forgetting the Finsbury Park puffer. It’s reversible, on-trend with a padded silhouette and it’s crafted with recycled polyester, so we gave it the same name as our bestselling sustainable handbag collection

We’ve drawn upon our leather expertise to create these new jackets. Meet the leather Dukes Place biker and the Baylis Road bomber jacket – both on-trend styles for Autumn/Winter 2022. Designed with flattering fits in irresistible buttery soft leather with the complement of shiny hardware. It’ll be hard to pick your favourite out of the two.

Now all you need is a handbag to complete your look. Head over to Radley Stories to read all about the new styles from our Where We Wander campaign, inspired by our London home. And while you’re also there, you can also find out about the craftsmanship behind our new autumn footwear collection
