New for Spring ‘24. Soft Colours and Textures
13 May 2024
The daffodils (and Easter eggs) have started to make an appearance, that means it’s time to reveal the next edit of our Spring ‘24 collection. Think soft textures and colours of luxurious leathers, dreamy. If you’re already picking out your next Radley, just wait until our Design team tell you a bit more about them.
A bit like the weather, our Spring ‘24 collection keeps getting better. Take our Hillgate Place tote. As our Creative Director, Zizi, notes: “We all love our spacious totes for carrying everything you could possibly need. So why shouldn’t they carry a smaller bag too? We’ve included a detachable zip-fastening pouch that you can keep valuables in while you’re using the open top tote, and then repurpose it as a clutch for the evening. Our handbags are made to do it all.”
And that’s not the only fresh spring look (and feel) for Hillgate Place. Design Manager, Lucy, tells us why they chose to add suede to the mix: “As soon as you feel it you understand. This mix of our signature grained leather and smooth suede is irresistible and looks fantastic on our relaxed Hillgate Place silhouettes.”
We couldn’t imagine a more perfect name for this shade of grey than Cloud Burst. You might just feel like you’re carrying one.
Introducing Milligan Street. We love a style that’s all about the curves, from the zip fastening to the softly rounded edges. Sally, Senior Designer, lets us in on a secret: “This style might look familiar to some long-time Radley fans. We’ve based it on one of our favourite styles from our archive. The tassels are new though, and I think they add so much fun.”
We couldn’t agree more. A backpack with a preppy twist? Sign us up.
And you know us, we couldn’t stop with just one silhouette. Obviously, it’s gorgeous to look at, but you know what your mum always says. It’s what’s inside that counts. Milligan Street shoulder bag (coming soon in Butterscotch, but currently available in Cloud Burst) features an interior leather divider complete with card slots, a zipped pocket and a leather strap for attaching your keys.
Maybe your mum also told you that good things come in small packages (consider this your reminder that Mother’s Day is this month), and we couldn’t agree more when it comes to our Mallow Street phone cross body (coming soon). Essentials-only bags can be made from the most squishy, huggable leather too.
It’s going to be a very exciting month (hint: watch this space for a blooming lovely new collaboration) so make sure you keep an eye on Radley Stories for the latest news. And make sure to see the rest of our latest edit in New Arrivals.
